I will be appearing with Kate Shapiro at the Tucson Festival of Books on March 9 & 10, 2024. You can find me on the floor being overwhelmed by whatever it is we’re supposed to be doing at book fairs, and will also be appearing on four panels. Here are the panel details:

A Pen Dipped in Humor

Joel H. Cohen, a writer for The Simpsons and Saturday Night Live, blends wit and insight in his new book, "The Occasionally Accurate Annals of Football." Jack Allison and Kate Shapiro are debut authors with "Kill the Rich," a satire thriller. All three authors have a gift for making us smile.

Workshop: Writing with Humor

Jack Allison, a Writers Guild of America Award-Winning writer, has written for Jimmy Kimmel, Academy Awards, Emmy Awards and Funny Or Die, and co-hosts the podcast "Struggle Session." Kate Shapiro, who has a Master of Fine Arts in fiction, won the International Literary Seminars & Fence Fiction Contest in 2018. Jack and Kate co-authored their debut novel, "Kill the Rich.” Join them as they discuss the intricacies in developing and publishing their first novel.
